Our National Optics Students Meeting (
EEOF2013) in joint with UBA chapter, was held this time in Buenos Aires City (Ciudad Universitaria, 20th-21st May-2013). This year's topic was
Plasmonics and Nano-Optics. The OSA (CIOP-UNLP Chapter) invited speaker was
Dr. Stefan Maier from the Imperial College of London. Other invited speakers were
Dr. Rajesh Menon (SPIE UBA Chapter invited Lecturer),
Mario Stefani from UBA and
Andrea Bragas from UBA.
Members from our chapter (and others from Argentina) attended this meeting and stayed for the National Optics Meeting (TOPFOT) 22nd-23rd May. Over 80 students and 60 senior scientists attended the joint Annual Optics Meeting!
